Tonderayi, Prosper Mageza is a Sustainable Tourism and Business Development Professional. He is a PhD candidate for Management Science at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. He is one of the founders and a director of a socially sustainable business in Namibia. He is a board member and expert consultant for multiple organisations in Namibia and Austria, including his role on the UNESCO-UNEVOC Bridging Innovation and Learning in TVET (BILT) Expert Group. He holds a Master's Degree in Innovation and Management in Tourism with emphasis on Experience Design, eTourism, Business Artificial Intelligence, International Tourism Development, and Entrepreneurship from the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences in Austria. His speciality and research was on the use of artificial intelligence for sustainable development in tourism destinations. He has worked for and with multiple international and Namibian organisations. As the former head of the Tour and Safari Association of Namibia and an animal and environment science specialist at Walt Disney in Orlando, Florida, USA, he is an accomplished tourism development manager driven by a strong passion for conserving the world. He has dedicated his education, skills and knowledge to contribute to sustainability advances in tourism and international business development. As an accomplished public speaker, among the many awards he has earned, he was awarded a scholarship to participate at European Forum Alpbach in 2022 – a platform where young change makers and leaders have an opportunity to network and share ideologies of development with the current and previous leadership of Europe and abroad.
