Folaseto is a highly accomplished investor, with over 15 years of experience in both developed and growth markets. She has been instrumental in deploying and managing investments worth over $7 billion. Currently, Folaseto serves as an Investment Manager at Actis, a leading global investor in sustainable infrastructure that has raised US $24 billion to date. She currently manages a leading pan-African hospitality platforms, a joint venture with Westmont Hospitality Group, with 1,345 keys across seven properties in key hub markets in East, West, and North Africa. Folaseto is a well-respected Board member, having co-led investments and served on the Board of Trustees of Nile University of Nigeria, a member of Honoris United Universities, the first and largest pan-African higher education network. She has also served on the Boards of Sigma Pensions, a leading Pension Fund Administrator, Mouka Foam, West Africa’s largest mattress producer and as a board observer of Indorama, the world’s largest single train Urea Fertilizer plant. Before joining Actis, Folaseto worked at DPI LLP, a $1.1bn private equity fund in London. Prior to that, she worked as a Manager in the transactions team at PwC. She also had stints with KPMG and Afrinvest. Folaseto holds an MBA degree from the London Business School and a BSc in Computational Mathematics from the University of Leicester, UK.
