Joe Pietersen is an ex-professional rugby player from South Africa who transitioned to conservation and tourism over the past 12 years. Joe founded and runs Nkombe Rhino, a South African NGO focussing on endangered species, with a main focus on rhino, the key issue species in South Africa. With a main focus in conservation, Joe works on various related projects, including a game reserve RE-wilding project in the Kruger National Park, tourism throughout Southern Africa, and two music festivals, all with conservation at its core.
