As Marketing and Sales Director of the Singer Group, a distinguished travel and hospitality company with nearly six decades of industry presence, Lee-Anne leverages her 29 years of experience to drive business development, identify new opportunities, and foster partnerships. Together with her team, she spearheads revenue generation and marketing strategies across the Group's eleven brands, reshaping the South African tourism landscape through innovation and strategic collaborations. Additionally, Lee-Anne serves as Chairperson of FEDHASA Cape, the official representative body of South Africa's hospitality industry, recognized by the government. In this capacity, she leads efforts to advocate for the industry and facilitate collaboration and commercialization projects for its members. Lee-Anne also holds a position as a Board Director at Cape Town Tourism, where she contributes to shaping the direction and policies of the organization, particularly within the tourism committee. Cape Town Tourism, as the official marketing body for the city, has earned international acclaim for its innovative marketing campaigns. Furthermore, she assumes the role of Tourism Sector Portfolio Committee Chair at the Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where she influences the Chamber's strategies related to the tourism industry in the Western Cape. As a recognized leader in the tourism sector, Lee-Anne is frequently invited to speak at conferences, contribute to panels, and host workshops on various topics, including tourism marketing, technology, leadership, and gender empowerment. Her engagements span across international platforms, such as the International Travel Tech Conference in Tel Aviv, World Travel Market, and the Istanbul Tourism Fair. Outside of her professional endeavors, Lee-Anne finds fulfillment in serving on the board of Glendale Home, a facility for intellectually disabled adults, where she oversees communications and fundraising efforts. She believes in the potential of the tourism industry to drive economic growth, job creation, and poverty eradication in South Africa and actively supports initiatives such as hosting tourism workshops for the youth at HOPE Cape Town. Before joining the Singer Group, Lee-Anne held various roles within the media industry, including positions at CNBC Africa, The Property Magazine, and Top Women in Business and Government. A defining moment in Lee-Anne's career was winning the 'Western Cape Positive Role Model' title in the Gender Mainstreaming Awards, which reflects her commitment to fostering relationships, connecting people, and enabling collective success. She considers her ability to build meaningful connections and leverage her extensive network as one of her greatest strengths, driving innovation, collaboration, and positive change within her professional sphere. Amidst her busy professional life, Lee-Anne finds immense joy and fulfillment in raising her three children, Ruby, Joseph, and Daniel.
