Andrew McLachlan is a hotel developer and deal-maker with over 30 years of experience in African hospitality. He is the Founder and CEO of Develop Hotels Inc, a boutique advisory firm specialising in hotel, resort and safari lodge development.

Develop Hotels Inc provides tailored solutions to owners, investors and developers, offering expertise in Development Management, Project Investment Viability, Capital Raising, Buy-Side and Sell-Side Advisory and Owner’s Representation. The firm’s flexible approach helps real estate investors, high-net-worth individuals, corporations and public entities bridge knowledge gaps in new hotel development, repositioning, rebranding, repurposing acquisitions and exits.

Before founding Develop Hotels Inc in 2022, Andrew held senior leadership roles at Hilton, Radisson Hotel Group, AfriNord Hotel Investments and Protea Hotels. He played a key role in setting up and expanding Radisson’s footprint across Africa and led Hilton’s development strategy in the region. He also managed a $50 million Scandinavian investment fund, financing hotel projects across the continent.
